Petition: no master level for the ritualist hero
From some point of view the ritualist hero is no more than a normal profession hero, so no extra difficulty should be added to get it.
Some additional thoughs:
- An extra monk, an extra warrior, an extra necro, or an extra elementalsist may be "extra" an require a masters level, but, not a "non-extra ritualist".
- A player may not be interested at all in the Domain of Anguish, because its lack of playability (like the UW, the FoW or the ToPK which are areas which fall a long way into a play limited to specialized farming team builds)
- Puting a "masters" level to get features of the game which one expects to get with the normal level, is a reason to think in buying gold for money in e-Bay or some other web site.
This may be my point of view, and I do not expect what I have written to be signed... or not signet; please, avoid "signing" it. Anyone may express as well his point of view, or some other point of view.
Cordially.
P.S.: I hope that some Anet people read this, as when I have written to the support I am always advised to write to fan forums like this one.

there is no reason why ritualist have to be "discriminated" this way by Anet. its just anouther balanced class. i agree that playing with a rit hero through the campaign is like cheating, but we should be able to aquire at least 1 hero of every profession with no "hassle" by the end of the game

Everyone that wants a rit hero should be able to get one just as easy as the rest of the heros.

Just add a female Rit hero in factions as there is a Sin one.
Problem sorted.
People can still go get Razah if they want to, but its their choice.

On the other side of things, those who like to PvP with their PvE toons and use hero’s and can’t some reason other wise get a Ritualist hero are sol and are at a disadvantage.

I don't see why there wasn't a Rt hero added from Cantha, it is a Canthan prof after all..seems logical no?

Domain of Anguish is too much of a pain in the butt, I enjoy *enjoying* the game and probably will not be completing any of the Elite missions. Give the hard-core Elite Mission types something... elite... but please let those of us who enjoy playin the PvE have access to Razah some other way.
I want to do Hero battles with my PvE Ritualist and I'm missing a Hero...

I was just about to say that. Anyway, I could see Razah being elite if he did indeed have a variable profession as expected. But as is, he is just a normal ritualist and there should not be a requirement to do elite missions just to get a ritualist hero. As stated many times before, elite missions should have elite rewards and Razah is not elite. Either change Razah to be considered of an elite status, or remove Razah from the Domain of Anguish.

Razah atm is just like FoW armor or Vabbian armor or the UW spider. He's the "vanity" hero. People don't get FoW armor cos it's better than other armor. Razah isn't better than other heroes. But People still pay loads and try really hard to get him just to say "I've got Razah. I've tried REALLY hard." Not really sure if Anet would actually make razah easily acquirable.
This petition is like saying "make FoW armor or the UW spider easily attainable cos they're no better than their regular counterparts"

He is if you want a Ritualist Primary hero - because he's the only one.
A "vanity" hero should either be the Variable Profession as the Nightfall manual indicated, or a hero in which the Primary profession is one we already have. Like a second Mesmer, or Dervish.

Comparing the acquisition of Razah to that of FoW/Vabbian armor or an UW spider is like comparing apples to oranges. If Razah was truly variable profession, it would be elite. Strictly Ritualist is not elite, and thus he should have been in Cantha instead. Razah should be moved there, and the quest changed for an addition of a variable class hero or, as mentioned above, an extra hero of a kind we already have should be added in his stead.
I don't know how many enjoy playing as or with a Ritualist, but I sure do a lot. Was disappointed to see how hard it was to get a simple hero. Too much work for the "payoff".

Either leave Razah elite and give us a viable option #2 for a Ritualist hero, or make him easier to obtain. I can think of plenty of times that I could have used Razah during the NF campaign and I didnt have him.

If he was the variable profession hero promised then he would be worth the toil. I would be out there right now trying to gather the stones needed to get him. I truely believe they should change him to what was written in our guides.

Told many times already. but I'll never tire of telling it:
- A 6000 Balthazar Mesmer for Prophecies.
- A 3000 Balthazar Ritualist for Factions
- Next chapters add a new hero per next added profession. (If they add two, they add two heroes, if they add one profession, they should add just one hero).
- Make Razah really variable. Either by GUI improvement of by aneasier way: Changing between 'virtual' Razahs by taling to an NPC. (You talk to the 'original' razah in the Gates of Angish and you can change his primary profession, so you 'lose' the Ritualsit version of him and get another version of Razah.
